Hi! I'm Ashley Anderson and I'm currently a postdoctoral fellow in the Carolina Postdoctoral Program at the University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill. Previously, I received my Ph.D. in the Government Department at Harvard University in 2016, my M.A. in Government from Harvard in 2011, and my B.A. in International Relations from Stanford University in 2009.
At Harvard, I served as a Graduate Student Associate for the Weatherhead Center for International Affairs as well as an affiliate of the Institute for Qualitative and Quantitative Social Sciences. During my time at graduate school, I have also worked as a research assistant for the Department of Homeland Security and the Harvard Kennedy School.
Beyond academia, I have served as a Resident Tutor at both Stanford and Harvard University, where I have been able to expand my interactions with undergraduates to a community setting, and engage in more focused mentorship and advising. In my free time I also enjoy running, reading fantasy novels, and spending time with my family in my hometown of Arlington, Texas whenever I can.
